Uh, not if you look at the individual chapter (which you should generally do, since it is always the most recent). If you're looking at the book as a single PDF file, then...more than likely.

And as for lacking table of contents, indeed. Missing. Pain in the butt to generate (because chapter are numbered starting with page 1 for each chapter), so for a one-off compilation, didn't bother. Perhaps next time. Individual chapters have the TOC (or, more correctly, 'bookmarks', in the PDF).

Just re-compiled the book. The 'normal' (portrait) version has the PDF bookmarks. The rotated version (which is intended for printing) does not (since the bookmarks don't print).
