About the naïve estimate

Postby Angelica » Thu Jan 09, 2014 2:51 pm

Hello,

I am analyzing a camera trapping data for jaguars, but in the output files of the models don't appear the naïve estimate, instead appears this:

modtype=1

Custom Model:

Number of parameters = 3
Number of significant digits = 7.7

Model has been fit using the logistic link.

Number of parameters = 3
Number of function calls = 105
-2log(likelihood) = 50.5375
AIC = 56.5375
LikeNRSig=6 eps=0.01 ETA=1e-013

Untransformed Estimates of coefficients for covariates (Beta's)

A2 psi.Vegetaciónsecundaria : -2.767436 1.213454
B1 p1 : -2.604930 0.638725

I will appreciate any help.

Naive estimate is now reported earlier in the output.

Also, from your output it looks like you don't have an intercept term in the psi design matrix (ie no column with a '1') is that intentional? Typically you want to have at least one '1' somewhere along each row of a design matrix unless you really know what you're doing.

Cheers

Thank you Darryl! I will include the intercept term, I was just missing it. :shock:
