Pradel models including robust design?

Postby mks » Fri Dec 21, 2012 2:38 pm

Hi Jeff,

Are Pradel models including robust design currently supported in RMark? I didn't see Pradel+robust design models listed in the R documentation/Appendix 3, but I wanted to double check with you and see if there are plans to support these models in the future.

Regards,

MKS

So many models in MARK I can't keep them all straight. I believe so. In Aug 2011 I made a concerted effort to include most of the models. Could be that Gary has added some since then. The listing in Appendix C and help documentation are way out of date and likely to stay that way for awhile. The best way to see what is available in RMark is to look at MarkModels.pdf which is installed in the RMark directory of your R library. That directory also has models.txt and parameters.txt that are used by the code to define structure of models and parameters. You can modify values in those files but the only thing that really should be changed would be the default formula in parameters.txt. These files can be useful to look at but if you make an inadvertent change bad things could happen.

Thanks, Jeff. MarkModels.pdf is very useful and I see that my model of interest is indeed supported!

Alternatively, simply fire up MARK, and select Help | Data Types.

Unfortunately not all of the models in MARK are supported by RMark. The MarkModels.pdf shows which are supported by RMark. If you want a model in MARK that is currently not supported by RMark, let me know and I'll add it.

Ok I should have tried your suggestion. I didn't realize that Gary had shown which are available. Thanks Gary. I can also see that some new ones have been added.
