when i tried toinstall the new version of MARk i got error messages about ocx and dll files, and finalyy a mesage saying unable to find program capture.exe . Any ideas about how to solve this problem: i had a previosus versionof MARK (3.1) at the computer already nad never before i had problems

As per an earlier posting, the 'new and improved' install routine Gary is using with MARK now is 'flaky'. To avoid the error messages (which are probably benign, but you never know...), do the following:

1. uninstall the older version of MARK - using the 'formal' way of uninstalling Windows software (you can do this from the Control Panel)

2. make sure you delete the old MARK directories

3. install new MARK

This should work fine. The only remaining glitch is entirely cosmetic - 2 copies of the MARK icon are put onto the desktop, instead of one.

I'm a graduate student of NTNU, Taipei, Taiwan.
This is my first time to use the program MARK.
After download and install this program, there is a little problem.
When I click the button "Click to Select File"
The screen show me the following message and abort MARK:

Error Code: 50(ACCESS VIOLATION)

Description: Application Code Error causing Access Violation Callstack:

The program version that I downloaded is 4.1.0.337
My computer's CPU is Pentium 4--2.4G
RAM is 256Mbyte
If someone know how to solve this program, please help me.
