Hi everyone,
I have a population of juveniles and adults, and both age-classes show transience (the population is thought to have high adult survival and low juvenile recruitment). I would like to fit a TSM model to what is already a two age-class model. I have a total of 6 occasions and after two occasions juveniles become adults. I would like a survival estimate for each occasion. I've set my PIMs as
Juv
1 6 10 11 12
2 7 11 12
3 8 12
4 9
5
Adult
13 18 19 20 21
14 19 20 21
15 20 21
16 21
21
Unfortunately I'm stuck at the design matrix. I've tried to set it similiar to that shown in section 8.1.2 of the guide. I think I may have the adult portion of the matrix correct but I'm having trouble with the juveniles. Can anyone suggest where I'm going wrong? Any comments would be much appreciated.
