GoF tests - removals

Dear All,

I am currently trying to run a GoF test on a CJS model with removals. So far I have run the bootstrap GoF test, but it ignores the animals that were removed from the sample. I have also run the U-care test but I'm not clear as to whether it also ignores the removals. Both methods have yielded suspicously good c-hat values (between 1 and 1.5). Does U-care include the removals? Which GoF test would you recommend given that the bootstrapping method looses up to one third of the data?
