Hi,
We have presence absence data of tigers from 2500 sq km area where we spatially replicated the sampling in 100 sq km grids. Within that same area we have data from from camera traps covering 300 sq km area where we photo-captured 9 individuals. The psi for the larger area was estimated to be 0.39 with a p value of 0.2. Is there any way I can co relate the abundance data with the occupancy and conclude based on the two sampling methods for the whole area?
The camera traps were done in the more intensively protected site (national park), while the occupancy was done in the larger part (tiger reserve) of it. The occupancy survey was done initially and based on the signs that we got, we put camera traps to estimate abundance. I used prey and human disturbance as covariates determining detection probabilities.
Thanks,
Jim
