Handling “Numerical Estimation Options”.

Postby Manuel » Tue Aug 16, 2005 1:52 pm

Hi all,
How the “Standardize Individual Covariates" option need to be set when specifying a model that includes categorical covariates (e.g., habitat types) and continuous covariates (e.g., body weight)?
Thank you very much in advance.

If you have a mix of individual covariates, some of which you want to 'normalize', and some of which you don't, you'll need to do this in the INP file directly (i.e., do it yourself) - the standardize option in MARK will standardize all of the covariates, if you select it (I believe).
