Closed robust design multistate model

What does the "omega" stand for in the closed robust design multistate model? The rest of the parameters I have found definition for in Kendall et al. 2003.

My question to you would be: "Which multistate closed robust design?"
There are 12 different model structures under the MSCRD... I assume you've chosen one with either Misclassification and/or Heterogeneity. For one type of models there is a "Pi" parameter, for the other there is an "omega", and for models with both misclassification and heterogeneity, there would be both a "Pi" and an "omega" (I guess). The "omega" (or "Pi") would represent the proportion of the population that is in each misclassification group or heterogeneity group (slightly mislabeled since within the group they are homogenous but heterogenous between groups).

Hope that helps,
