Model averaged profile likelihood confidence intervals

Postby jkemp » Thu Aug 11, 2005 10:50 pm

I'm running a nest survival analysis. I have no problem generating Profile Likehihood confidence intervals estimates from individual models, but is it possible to generate them for model-averaged estimates?

Josh:
Estimates from model averaging are not maximum likelihood estimates, so there is no likelihood and hence no profile likelihood CI. You can use the logit transform to maintain confidence bounds within the 0-1 interval.
