I got mixed up a bit about DMs. I got 15 occasions --> 14 time intervals. I only work with birds ringed as juvenile. Therefore, i got 14 time intervals for juveniles and 13 time intervals for adults (2 age classes). Since I my data is scarse inthe beginning of the study, i want to group the first 5 time intervals for juveniles, and the 4 first intervals of adults. I build up models with two different DMs

** I thought both would give the same results, but its not exact the same
** the first method gives me reasonable looking beta's, while the 2nd DM gives only betas of 0.0000 and 60+
What to do? shouldnt both DMs give the same result? And, what does it mean when betas are really high or 0.0000?
