Model Performance

Postby BStevens » Tue Jun 15, 2010 11:57 am

I recently submitted a manuscript in which I used the nest survival model to estimate daily survival rates. I presented all of the standard I-T statistics (K, model weights, etc.), including c-hat, and corrected my modeling for c-hat's > 1 usinf QAIC. One reviewer comment was that I did not present any aspect of model performance, such as proportion of variance explained. I was under the impression that generalized linear models do not have an r-squared equivalent, and I am unsure how to approach the issue of model performance (as separated from model fit) using this model.
