Results browser doesn't pop up

Postby berghsm » Mon Jul 20, 2009 5:59 pm

After I hit "ok to run" the results browser doesn't pop up and I cannot click "view" then "results browser". I haven't had this problem before when using PRESENCE. Any ideas?

When you click OK to run, does a command window (black window with white characters) pop up and display anything? Have you run PRESENCE on this computer before, or was it on another computer? Does this happen on the included sample data files?

Yes, the command window is still there and does have numbers in it. I have used PRESENCE a bunch on this computer and never had a problem before. I'm not sure why it has a problem with site covariates and not sampling covariates. Thanks.

Did you set up your project correctly? i.e., after entering and saving your data, did you click on OK then see the Results Browser window before you tried to run any models? Does the *.pa2 project file appear in your directory?

After a few off-line emails, we've discovered the problem was:

You have to make sure to click the 'OK' button, after selecting the input file (via 'click to select file' button). If you don't do this, the output file (*.pa2) is not created.
