about list of parameters in PRESENCE 2.2

Postby gurutzeta » Thu Aug 21, 2008 12:11 pm

Hi,

I have a question regarding the lists of parameter estimates provided by PRESENCE 2.2. I read in the FAQ that the output is so that when consecutive sites have the same estimate only one of them is outputted to avoid long lists. However I just run a model and I got a list of all the 201 first sites (even if they had the same estimate as the preceding one) and nothing of the remaining 200 or so. Same thing happened both for psi and for p. I copied below a section of my output just in case...

So my question is, is there any way I could see the estimates for each of the different "types" of sites I have (meaning each certain combination of covariates)? I basically wanted to have a look at the confidence intervals but apparently I cannot see all of them...

I would be grateful if someone can tell me if I am doing something wrong or misunderstanding something.

Thanx!

PRESENCE will print only the 1st 200 estimates unless you check the option in the 'Setup Numerical Estimation' dialog window labelled 'set max estimates to print'. When you select that option, the program will ask how many estimates to print. Enter a number at least as large as the number of sites*surveys to print all of the estimates.
