In PRESENCE, there are 2 options for the format for multi-species data.
Option 1. Create presence/absence data for species A as you would for a single-species analysis. Create presence/absence data for species B. Tack species B data in rows after species A data. So, if you have 100 sites, the first 100 rows of data will be presence/absence for species A, and the 2nd 100 rows will be the data for species B. Duplicate covariate data to match corresponding rows in presence/absence data.
Option 2. Create presence/absence data where '1' =species A only detected, '2' = species B only detected, '3'=both species detected, and '0'=neither species detected. So, if you have 100 sites, you'll have 100 rows and no duplication of covariates is necessary.
