pitfall trap

Hi,
We are analyzing live-catching pitfall trap data of ground-dwelling beetles, estimating their survival, capture probability, density and movement pattern. As we could not find any text in the Mark book on how to deal with problems of pitfall trap data (e.g. sampling is not instantaneous, but lasts through the whole interval) we would appreciate any hint or literature on this subject.
