Hello everybody,
I have gone through all the messages posted in the forum dealing with the robust desing and I have found a sentence that I have not arrived to understand since English is not my native language. It was posted on February 8th 2006 in a reply given by Dr. Kendall to Todd, he said “If by total population size you mean the number of animals in the study area at a given time, you can get that out of the regular robust design model or the Huggins robust design model … I believe most folks have had more luck with the Huggins model than the regular robust design, which seems to be more stable especially with smaller sample sizes”.
I am quite unsure which model seems to be more stable with small sample sizes: Huggins model or the regular one. Does anybody have any other suggestion when dealing with small sample size in the robust design?
I would appreciate any help solving this doubt.
Thanks,
