Time intervals between captures

Postby VTagliapietra » Wed Sep 02, 2015 9:14 am

Dear members,
I'm doing some CMR analysis on rodents which have been captured on a monthly interval from April to October every year. I couldn't find anything on how to deal with the 'winter' time gap of 6 months between years.
Some animals do survive from one year to the other, but in Pollock et al 1990 and Amstrup et al 2005 it is said that time intervals between sample occasions have to be sufficiently large but not that they have to be constant over time.
Can anybody help?
Thanks, Valentina

The Gentle Introduction (MARK book) discusses uneven time intervals. You have to set it up when you import the .inp file initially. See chapter 4 for a good overview.
