additive models in known fate

Postby amusante » Tue Jan 17, 2006 7:19 pm

Can the PIM be used to set up additive models in kapaln meir format in known fate or do you need to use DM? Weekly entries were used in encounter history and certain weeks combined in PIM to setup seasons. I want to use additive model by combining seasons in PIM. I know interactive models can be done in PIM but not sure about additive models. Thanks,

Tony

You can't do additve models with PIMs - known-fate, or otherwise. The design matrix is your only option for additive models. This is discussed in great detail in Chapter 7. I suggest giving it a read.
