Error when running Test3sr

Postby aptrk » Tue May 04, 2021 11:17 am

Hi everyone,
I'd like to first thank the development of UCARE to help test the assumptions of our models.
I tried to run the different tests for a CJS model on the standalone version and all tests run well except for the test3sr. When I run the test3sr I get the following message:

Undefined function or variable phip
Error in test3sr(line72)
Error in UCARE_v3_3 (line 875)
MATLAB: undefined function

and UCARE crashes. Any leads on how to overcome this problem?

Thanks,

Alejandro

Dear Alejandro, it's difficult for me to figure out what's going on. I understand it's a unistate dataset and you're evaluating the goodness of fit of the Cormack-Jolly-Seber model. Is that correct? Could you copy and paste some of the data here to see if I manage to reproduce the problem on my U-CARE?

Thanks Simone!
I'd be happy to send you reproducible code to check it out. This is data on more than 150 individuals and 311 occasions (I'm estimating daily survival), and is therefore hard to reproduce in the forum.

Looking forward to your response!

OK, I see... you can contact me privately, you should be able to reach my contact address (perhaps indirectly) by viewing my profile on Phidot. You can write to me in Spanish...
