function "unequal time interval"

Hello,

I want to study transitions between breeding states within breeding seasons and over a 9-year period. To do so I divided each year into 3 reproductive periods (incubation, rearing1, rearing2), which thus gives 3x9=27 encounter occasions.
In order to indicate unequal times intervals between these occasions I created a file interval.txt with number1 number2 number3 [...] number26. Each number is separated by a space and represents the duration of each reproductive period (3 2 7 2 3 7 2 3 7 2 3 7 2 3 7 2 3 7 2 3 7 2 3 7 2 3).
Then, I select Menu "Setting -> Unequal time interval: Set" and import my file. But afterwards, even the simplest models don't run anymore (infinite deviance with Quasi Newton algorithm, or error message with EM(20)+Quasi Newton algorithm) whereas they were running correctly before.

Besides, I don't understand what is the function "Unequal time interval: # of steps".

Can you send me the session so that I would
be able to reproduce the bug?.
