announcing secr 2.3.2

This new release includes a variety of mostly minor extensions, and fixes several minor bugs.

A new function randomHabitat() implements the modified random cluster algorithm of Saura and Martinez-Millan (2000 Landscape Ecology) to generate random landscapes - these can be used with sim.popn() e.g.
Code: Select all
tempmask <- make.mask(nx = 100, ny = 100, spacing = 20)
mrcmask <- randomHabitat(tempmask, p = 0.4, A = 0.4)
pop <- sim.popn(10, mrcmask, model2D = "IHP")

The format for storing acoustic data has changed, and measurements of background noise may be stored alongside signal measurements. These changes and associated new models are not yet fully documented. Previous code should still work.

See NEWS at for a full list of changes.
