announcing secr 1.4.1

A new release of the R package 'secr' is now available for download from CRAN and from http://www.otago.ac.nz/density. For a list of changes see http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/secr/NEWS. Changes are mostly minor. New features include simulation of spatiotemporal populations and truncated detection functions, a detection function with maximum at d > 0, empirical variance estimation from replicated samples, and construction of hexagonal detector arrays.
