Different buffer size - open secr

Postby martind » Mon Mar 29, 2021 5:45 pm

Is it possible to define different buffer size for specific trap layouts in each session? We need to define different buffer size and build state space for each session and we get error messages even if we use the same buffer size for all sessions.

"Warning messages:
1: In openCR.fit(CH, mask = clippedmask, type = "JSSAsecrf", detectfn = "HHN", :
multi-session mask provided; using first"

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help and support

'openCR' works by first joining multi-session data into a single session with specified intervals between sampling occasions (secondary sessions), and it is not possible to define different masks for different primary sessions. I wonder what peculiarity of your data might require different masks? In general it is OK to simply use the largest single-session mask. If different areas were sampled each session then you have another problem that can perhaps be addressed via detector usage, but resampling of areas is necessary to monitor survival etc.
