revised chapter 1 & 7

Just posted revisions to chapter 1 (basic introduction) and 7 (linear models). Chapter 1 revisions are simply 'typo fixes' - no new material. Chapter 7 is a slight restructuring, real error fixes, and addiditon of some new features.

Probably worth downloading the new Chapter 7.

The new versions of both chapters are also found in the 'single indexed book' file.
