occupancy models

Not strictly of MARK-specific interest, but since MARK does handle some types of occupancy models, the following might be of interest.
I just received my copy of a recent publication by Darryl Mackenzie, Jim Nichols and some other culprits in the PWRC Mafia (Ken Pollock - charter member) - on estimation and modeling of patch occupancy. The book is published by Academic Press, but they seem to be back-ordered at the moment. I had success getting a copy from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/012088 ... s&v=glance
The full citation for the book is:
Occupancy Estimation and Modeling : Inferring Patterns and Dynamics of Species Occurrence (Hardcover)
by Darryl I. MacKenzie, James D. Nichols, J. Andrew Royle, Kenneth H. Pollock, Larissa L. Bailey, James E. Hines
Its a really slick piece of work...when I finally get around to putting together a chapter on how MARK handles occupancy models, this will be the de facto reference point.
