can't run nest survival models

I get this error every time I try to run a nest survival model: Could not parse output properly in file mrk****y.tmp for model.

I had this problem before with previous version (6.0, see previous pleas), and was hoping the newest version of MARK would solve it for me. It still happens with 6.1, however.

The program used to work fine for me on my old XP laptop with version 5.x. I am now running Windows vista on a Dell Inspiron laptop. I've tried running the program as an administrator as it suggests in the MARK FAQ, but that didn't work.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mike

Have you got the line of text that appears below at the top of your input file? If not, you can get an error message like the one you report.
Best!

Yep, here is a snippet of an inp file (below). It works on my other laptop (Windows XP, Mark 5.x), but not on my new laptop (Windows Vista, MARK 6.1). So I think it is a Vista issue. Very frustrating because I can view models on my new lap top, but I have to switch to my old slow one to run them! I've tried re-installing several times, different ways. The various error messages that pop up when I try to run a model are quoted below. Thanks. Mike
