significant book 'fixes' / updates

Postby cooch » Thu Jul 15, 2010 2:56 pm

Greetings -

Thanks to the extremely careful reading of much of the MARK book by several users, who then took the time to send me lists of typos, and suggestions for clarifications or corrections, I have just posted updates to several chapters (especially 4 -> 8, 11, 13 -> 15). In addition, I took some time this afternoon to re-index and recompile the entire book (in both portrait and landscape modes).

As such, it would be a good idea to download and update affected chapters (or, the entire book, as you see fit). You can determine the 'status' of a given chapter by looking at the compilation date in the lower-right-hand corner of the first page of each chapter.

A reminder that the individual chapters are always the 'canonical' versions - recompiling the whole book takes a bit of time, so I tend to do it relatively infrequently. Individual chapters are much quicker to change and compile, so they tend to be somewhat 'more current' than the entire book versions.

Again, none of this would have been possible without the careful attention and generous willingness to help exhibited by several readers. My sincere thanks.
