Is this normal? did I check a box somewhere that initiates this? How can I not receive emails from mayhews@michigan.gov after a post?

Sarah has her email client set to deliver an auto-response since she is away from email. Evan, can these types of messages be filtered out? If not, folks should be aware of this and should not set auto-responses when they're signed up to mailing lists that don't squash them automatically.

Not easily. The best way I can control that is to edit their profile and turn off the 'automatic' notification - I'll see what I can do.
