Presence 3.1 crashing in Windows 7

Postby kzeller » Tue Nov 09, 2010 4:41 pm

We seem to be having problems with Presence crashing when running models on a new machine with Windows 7 installed. Sometimes, it will miraculously work on the 3rd or 4th try -- sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone have any insights? We're even running it in compatibility mode.

Thanks!

I am also having trouble. I have run several models in Windows 7 and Windows XP using Presence 3.1 and now neither are working. I am able to set up the design matrices, but the 'OK to run' function is always unavailable. Any advice? Thank you.

I've uploaded a new version of Presence, which will hopefully get rid of the 'crashing' problems. Please let me know if it persists.

The 'OK to run' function is working now, but my models are not showing up in the ouput. They are also not available when I select retrieve model. :?

When the output does not appear in the results table, it usually means that there was a problem with the data or model. Can you send me the input (.pao) file?

I re-entered the data and it seems to be working again. Thanks, Jim!
