multi-season, multi-scale

Postby tds » Wed Apr 03, 2013 8:59 am

Hello,

I want to use a multi-season, multi-scale occupancy model for my current data. The Nichols et al. 2008 paper describes the model I want to use. This includes:
1. probability the organism occupies the site at least 1x from start 1st survey until the end of the final survey,
2. probability the organism uses the site during an individual survey given the site is occupied,
3. probability of detection during survey given site was used.
However, I haven't been able to determine how to conduct this model in Presence or elsewhere.

I have 94 sites, 6 biological seasons/year over 4 years, up to 3 visits per season (open within season, since birds have large territory and may "use" a survey area on some days but not others), 3 counts per visit (closed between counts).

Any advice?

Thank you,
Taza
