fixing detection

I have a situation where I need to fix detection. Data was not orignially collected with repeat surveys and unfortunately this is my only option. In the single season model do I add a column under detection and then add the fixed value? I tried this method but p in the results was not the value that I fixed it to be.

I would welcome any suggestions,
