Same model different results with Run>File Models?

I have datasets for 2 species with the exact same data structure (cases, groups, samples, etc.). I want to run the same set of models with each spp.

I built models for the 1st species and ran them. I input data for the 2nd species, ran a global model to test, then did Run>File Models from the 1st species. The global model in the 1st species' file models is the same as the global for the 2nd species, but the AIC values differ in the model table? The deviance is the same. Why would this occur?

Gary pointed out my error. Seems I was incorrectly using the browser to change the number of parameters vs. correctly using the Adjustments>Number of parameters menu command. Thank you to those replied via email
