batch mode multistate models

Postby Lise » Wed Apr 18, 2007 7:29 am

I am using the batch mode to run "voluminous" multistate models (as MARK kept on crashing).
So far I was using the logit link, but for a specific subset of models (fitting gompertz and weibull survival models) I need to use the log-log link.
Is there a way to specify this option in the command line in DOS?
Thanks to whoever may respond (and will help me avoid extra-days of tedious work..)

Please, don't pay attention to the previous message, I finally answered my own question.
For those who are interested, to change the link function while using the batch mode, you need to go the inp.file (and not to the bat file...) and find the following line:
"proc estimate link=LogLog varest=Hessian ;"
(somewhere under the recapture histories)
Then you can specify whatever link you want.
Yes I know I could have thought of that earlier...
Sorry for the previous useless email  .
