Simulations with Huggins' models and individual covariates

Postby vincenzo gervasi » Tue Apr 03, 2007 11:07 am

Hi,
I need to run some simulations with Huggins' closed models and individual covariates, but I am experiencing some problems: in particular, I need to define a uniform distribution of the covariate and explore its effect on capture probability and population estimation, but the uniform distribution seems to be not available. Is the procedure still under construction and not ready for use yet? Is there a different procedure I can use to simulate such a scenario?

Thank you,
V.

Simulations with Huggins\' models and individual covariates

Vincenzo:
Sorry, but simulations with individual covariates do not work. I've been comtemplating how exactly individual covariates should be simulated, and also how to incorporate observed values of individual covariates for a bootstrap procedure.
