Unknown MARK error

Postby conroy » Mon Oct 30, 2006 3:09 pm

I am getting an 'unknown error' while creating
mrk****z.tmp

This is happening on a windows machine; happens regardless of whether I am operating on a network directory or on the local disk; and occurs when I attempt to run and/or save a new model. this seems to be unique to the particular machine (I just ran the same input on my laptop, no problems).

I've reinstalled (twice) MARK after doing an uninstall, same deal. Anybody have a clue what's going on, before I turn it over to the pc surgeons? I am beginning to think that my Windows version is hosed somehow, but am holding out hope that there is an obsure MARK bug.

thanks

MARK error

Postby conroy » Mon Oct 30, 2006 5:52 pm

Anyone- to add to the previous post, please note that the I am using a recent (post-sept 06) install of MARK on machine A (the problem machine) and an older (c. may 06) version on machine B (where MARK is happy). I suspect that this is related to the issue that Gary identified recently.

SO-- does anyone have a MAY 06 or thereabouts windows installer for MARK?
I can't find one here. If you do, that may solve my problem

thanks
