I am studying twelve years of data for a migratory reef fish. This is my first time studying population dynamics, and while I had hoped to use CJS, Pradel and Robust design models, I'm finding that a two-age model fits the data much better (and there's biological evidence for it) than standard CJS.
Phi(Juvenile). Phi(Adult). p(t) is solving best.
Is it possible to modify the Pradel and/or Robust Design in MARK to incorporate two survival probabilities while still obtaining accurate lambdas and N's?
Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
