Beta estimates for all levels of a covariate

Postby jessie » Thu Oct 28, 2010 6:33 pm

Dear All,

Sorry if this is a very basic question. I am running the nest survival model and am using a covariate "vegetation type." There are four vegetation types, but I only included three parameters in the model, because the fourth is indicated when I put zero values in for all other types. What I can't figure out is how to view the beta estimate for this last vegetation type that is not in the model--I get the estimates for each of the three other vegetation types just fine.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thank you,
Jessie
