Problem with Median C-hat procedure

Postby Lynne Stenzel » Mon Aug 10, 2009 4:44 pm

I have run into difficulties using the Median C-hat GOF procedure in MARK with the Barker joint model for combined sources of information. The procedure starts successfully simulating, albeit slowly – around 8 hours per simulation, but starts consistently to rack up failed simulations after reaching various values of c, then crashes after being left for several more days. Upon restarting MARK after a simulation attempt I would receive the following error:

Error opening file mrk***z.tmp, with a follow-up error window:
Could not parse output properly.

After several attempts at using the Median C-hat procedure, I became unable to retrieve models (design matrices) and the entire program aborted with the following, non-ignorable error

Error Code 1[ ]
Subsystem: BASE
Operation: NULL_ARRAY
Function: ARRAYGET
Argument: 6
Argument number 1
Call Stack:
MYDESIGNWIN:INIT (Line 54)
MYTOPAPPWIN:PREDESIGN (Line 35)
MYTOPAPPWIN:RETRIEVEMODEL (Line 76)
APP:START (Line 780)
START (Line 6)

At this point, I had to reinstall MARK in order to retrieve models.

My system:
Windows 2003 Server (64bit; Service Pack 2)
Xeon
8gb ram
accessed via Remote Desktop

Any ideas of where my problem is arising and how I might fix it?
