Dear Mark loggers,

I’m analyzing data on heronries persistence in several areas of Northern Italy, characterized by differing foraging habitat surrounding colonies (some colonies feed on rice fields, other along rivers), differing conservation status (some colonies are protected, other are without protection), differing abundance (some colonies are huge, other are very small).

My idea is to understand if the foraging habitat and the conservation status affected the persistence of the colony in time.
At this aim I’m working with Mark but several things appeared unclear.

First of all, phi values are always equal to 1, despite the model selected by Mark. :( I suspect some is wrong in the choice of Data Type Selection but, as reported somewhere in Markbook, this problem can be related to something of “structural” hidden into file. :?

Basicly, I need to discuss with someone who is currently working with Mark, in order to understand the reason why my data are not properly working on Mark.

PS I must apoligize for my awful English
