max. clipboard matrix size for cut-paste into design matrix?

Postby mherzog » Wed Jun 04, 2003 3:07 am

Probably a question for Gary. I could probably figure this out by trial and error but thought this might be quicker.

When I try to paste large items from clipboard to design matrix, MARK seems to just ignore the paste attempt. However, if I cut and paste smaller amounts it goes in fine.

Is there a maximum matrix size (or max. total number of cells) that can be pasted in one attempt?

FYI - Windows XP, Excel XP, MARK 3.1

Thanks,
Mark

Mark:

There is no limit in MARK to the size of the clipboard that can be pasted that I know of. However, there may be some limits set by Windows, or the utilities underlying the MARK paste function that set limits that are not documented.
