Median c-hat reference?

Postby rems » Thu Mar 23, 2006 12:37 pm

Dear All:

I performed a goodness of fit test to a multistate model via median c-hat approach. Since I am going to submit a manuscript I have been searching a reference to cite the article and the author that explains this methodology but I havent found it. Ive searched in Mark help, Cooch and White great book and in the main Mark webpage.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Roberto

No primary reference for median c-hat - so (i) say you used median c-hat as implemented in MARK, (ii) cite the White & Burnham 'standard citation' for MARK, then (iii) describe the method (i.e., the basic approach).

That should be sufficient.

recent median c-hat reference?

Postby jclaisse » Tue Oct 16, 2007 3:53 pm

Has anything come out in the year and half since this post? I have seen recent papers cite the GI, although I think you still advise against this.

Yes, I still advise against it - nothing has come out yet. As per my earlier post, simply cite the primary MARK reference, and say you used the median c-hat approach as implemented in MARK.
