max number of groups?

Postby sixtystrat » Mon Jan 08, 2024 11:01 am

I am working on a known fate analysis and I have 27 groups. Mark keeps aborting when I try to create a dbf file and I was wondering if there was a maximum number of groups that it could accomodate. Thanks!

No maximum in the MARK numerical code other than your computer memory. The Windows interface is limited to 512kb, so that sounds like the problem since the DBF file is not being created. You are probably going to have to use RMark to create input files for the numerical code.

Thanks Gary! However, I got rid of all the groups and it is still not reading the data. Must be some other issue.
