RD Occupancy covariates on Occupancy

Hello community, a friend and I are discussing an analysis I conducted a few years ago. I conducted point counts at ~5K points for 4 years (primary) visiting them twice (secondary) each year. The same points were visited among years, and point (site) specific covariates were collected or produced (via GIS) each year. Under Robust Design Occupancy in MARK I used the Psi, Gamma, p (detection) formulation and modeled the covariates in conjunction with occupancy. So, I modeled changes in occupancy over time (years) as a function of changes in covariates. I know I have seen literature on this, but now I cannot find it. Can anyone provide me with any guidance?
